Awesome! Just awesome experience. This location is full of history and it takes you back in time with it's architecture, paintings but also the stories surounding this Villa. We had the pleasure to see the real piano where Traviata was finished and perfected also this Villa was the rest spot for American president Ronald Reagan who landed with his helicopter on the lawn. He had a very peculiar demand, to sleep in his very own American bed. He had it flown from America, specially for this night. The rest of the story I will let you find out from the hosts. The service was top and the food great. I would recommend this villa 5/5 !

The garden and grounds are well- maintained and make for a nice place to take an early morning or late afternoon walk. Unfortunately, the interior of the building is in desperate need of upkeep and repairs. There is no reason a historic location cannot maintain its charm and character while still keeping clean and serviceable for customers. Unfortunately, this location has been unable find that balance and there is far too much deferred maintenance to continue to hold the title of a five-star hotel. The pictures actually look better than the building looks in person. The bedroom furniture which it also supposed to be period is not, and it actually just old poor quality reproductions that aren't in good shape. The bones are there to make this a great hotel again, but a real investment needs to be made to bring things up to par before it's too late. The hotel could command so much more and generate more positive feedback if only they listened to the reviews that have been saying the same thing over the past few years.

Great hotel we stayed there for a friend’s wedding which was great nice swimming pool good breakfast nice rooms. The only annoying thing was ordering taxis which takes a 30 minutes waiting time

villa is isolated so you won't be able to walk anywhere else. the grounds are very nice, with a pool, and place to relax. nice breakfast.

We visited the villa years ago and plan to come back someday. What an amazing experience. The overall score is five stars: superb food, very friendly staff, amazing location and the rooms are clean and beautiful.

Our son and daughter-in-law got married here early September. First impressions were 'wow' what a great Italian Villa. We had a garden suite which was perfect. The staff were all so lovely and very helpful. The pool was very clean and perfect for the grandchildren. Breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Will definitely go back.

A very beatiful lovely Hotel with a lot of history. We arrived with a very very warm and professional welcome, the seniora was very frindly great and highly professional. We got the room a bit earlier, man thanks. Beautiful historic room with great support, good bed and great bathroom, and a lot of outlets. We enjoyed a great breakfast in on the terazza. Many thx for the great days.
